There were some really nifty app updates this week, especially Xero’s Ask in Xero HQ feature.
With Ask, partners can create, send, and monitor client responses to all sorts of queries from inside Xero.
It’s convenient, but more importantly, Ask is secure. Clients receive an email with a button prompting them to log in to Xero to answer questions and upload files, rather than responding via email.
Intuit, not to be left out, announced QuickBooks Online Projects, which is eerily similar to Xero Projects.
Intuit also released QuickBooks Invoicing for Gmail. The new integration with Google allows your clients to create and send QBO invoices directly inside the Gmail web and mobile apps.
