It was great seeing everyone who attended the Accounting & Finance Show LA this past week — especially Kenji Kuramoto, who shared a few of his takeaways with me in this short video on LinkedIn. If you’re in public accounting, don’t miss his webinar on selecting the right accounting apps for your firm this Tuesday, July 31.
I also had the pleasure of sitting in on Jody Padar’s keynote, in which she shared what she’s doing in her firm to transform the traditional CPA model, including ditching timesheets.
Speaking of timesheets, David Leary and I had the privilege of chatting recently with Ed Kless on the podcast. Ed talks about how he’s managed to thrive for 15+ years in the corporate world as a “business iconoclast,” his Libertarian principles, and why timesheets are a total scam.
For this and more of the latest accounting news, keep on scrolling.
